Golf legend Tiger Woods has officially confirmed his romantic relationship with Vanessa Trump. She is the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr. Woods shared this news through a heartfelt post on social media platform X.
On Sunday, Woods wrote to his 6.4 million followers, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.” Moreover, he asked for privacy “for all those close to our hearts.”
This relationship connects two high-profile families. From 2005 to 2018, Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr. Throughout their marriage, they welcomed five children. Their 17-year-old daughter Kai excels at golf and will therefore join the University of Miami team in 2026. Interestingly, Kai attends the same school as Woods’s children, Sam and Charlie. Just recently, she and Charlie competed in the same invitational tournament.

Celebrity news outlets had speculated about Woods and Vanessa Trump for several weeks. Subsequently, Woods confirmed their relationship. This announcement coincides with a challenging time for Woods because he recently revealed his ruptured Achilles tendon. Consequently, he cannot compete in the Masters tournament.
Although Woods typically guards his personal life carefully, he has made similar public announcements in the past. For instance, in 2013, he and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn jointly revealed their relationship on social media. During that announcement, they explained their desire to reduce paparazzi interest and thus protect their privacy.
In the past, Woods married Elin Nordegren, but they divorced in 2010 after his infidelity became public. Afterward, he dated Erica Herman for seven years until 2022. Unfortunately, that relationship ended with legal disputes, which the parties eventually dismissed.
Throughout the years, Woods has maintained connections with the Trump family. He has frequently golfed with former President Donald Trump. As a result of their relationship, Trump awarded Woods the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2019. Additionally, earlier this year, Woods joined White House discussions about professional golf’s divided state amid competition from the Saudi-backed LIV tour.
