Burjeel Holdings has officially launched four Alkalma Mental Health Centres across the GCC through the integration of Aspris Healthcare facilities. These centres are now operational in Dubai’s City Walk and Dubai Healthcare City, Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen, and Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. Each facility focuses on delivering accessible and adaptive mental healthcare for a wide range of psychological needs. With this expansion, Alkalma introduces an annual capacity of approximately 90,000 consultations, significantly improving mental health accessibility in the region.

The integrated centres offer care through multiple therapy formats, including individual, group, and family sessions. These services align with Alkalma’s mission to foster a comprehensive mental healthcare platform centred on prevention, accessibility, and wellbeing. By offering customisable and holistic support, these centres aim to fill a critical gap in the mental health infrastructure of the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holdings, emphasised the importance of this integration in achieving the group’s broader healthcare vision. He stated that bringing these facilities under the Alkalma banner is a key step toward building a value-driven mental health ecosystem rooted in clinical excellence and inclusivity. According to him, this move not only broadens access to care but also accelerates measurable outcomes for patients and healthcare systems across the region.

The launch of these Alkalma Mental Health Centres reflects a growing demand for specialised mental wellness services across the Gulf. With mental health increasingly recognised as vital to overall public health, Burjeel Holdings is positioning itself as a leader in delivering advanced and empathetic care across the Middle East. Each centre supports Alkalma’s ambition to provide flexible treatment plans tailored to the individual, ensuring a patient-centric experience rooted in compassion and clinical evidence.
