Winds carrying airborne toxins will blow mainly from the northeast, worsening air quality and reducing visibility. Frequent dust storms will intensify the situation, while non-rain-bearing clouds will blanket the sky. These clouds will trap heat, making the peak summer heat feel even hotter.
During this period, summer temperatures will climb to their highest levels of the season. At the same time, humidity will rise sharply, creating uncomfortable conditions, especially in coastal regions.
Toward the end of this phase, southern and southeastern winds will begin to dominate. As a result, temperatures will ease slightly, and evenings will turn cooler. This shift will provide much-needed relief from the intense daytime heat.
