The Middle East talent Venice Film Festival spotlight was bright at the 82nd edition, held from August 27 to September 6. Celebrities and influencers from across the region made their presence felt at glamorous events hosted by Armani Beauty, the festival’s official beauty sponsor.
The stylish Venice Venice Hotel, owned by the founders of Golden Goose, staged exclusive photo shoots and cocktail gatherings. Among the guests were Tunisian influencers Marwa Agrebi and Sara Cherif, alongside Moroccan star Meryem Said, who joined an elegant evening reception. Spanish actor Miguel Angel Silvestre was also photographed at the venue, adding to the international allure.
A highlight of the week came on Friday, when the historic Doge’s Palace overlooking St. Mark’s Square set the stage for an Armani dinner. Among the attendees was Lebanese-Jordanian actress Andria Tayeh, celebrated for her role in Netflix’s Al Rawabi School for Girls. Earlier this year, Tayeh became Armani Beauty’s Middle East ambassador and was also named a spokesperson for French haircare giant Kérastase. She recently began hosting The Voice Kids, marking her debut as a presenter. “It’s an honor to take on this role with my MBC family. Everything is exciting, and I’m loving every second of it,” she shared.
Other distinguished guests at the long, flower-adorned table included Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett, actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, supermodel Madisin Rian, and British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
On Saturday night, Armani capped off the festival with its annual Venice afterparty at the Arsenale di Venezia. Guests enjoyed a nostalgic showcase of archived runway moments spanning 1975 to 2005, while a live DJ kept the energy alive well into the early hours.
The 82nd Venice Film Festival once again proved to be more than just cinema—it became a global stage where Middle Eastern talent, fashion, and culture shined in harmony with Hollywood and European icons.
